Who owns it
The person owns the archive. An AI is an authorized client with its own identity and scopes. Disconnecting an AI does not hand it the archive or delete the user’s retained data.
How it connects
Compatible clients use Remote MCP over Streamable HTTP at https://mcp.diskdrive.ai/mcp, then open a browser-based OAuth 2.1 authorization flow with PKCE.
What it does not do
DiskDrive does not silently make every chat durable, use model output as an access-control decision, or claim a provider is connected merely because a research page mentions it.
